Embodia for Patients - Install Your Clinic's App

We’re excited to announce a new way for you to access your care from a personalized mobile app experience, now just a tap away.

Introducing our new clinic-branded Progressive Web App (PWA) — a powerful extension of the Embodia patient portal that looks and feels like a mobile app, but with faster updates and no phone storage space required.

You can now install our clinic-branded app directly from your browser. It looks and feels just like a regular app, but there’s no need to download it from the App Store or Google Play.

The examples below show a Demo Clinic for demonstration only. The appearance of your practitioner's app and icon will correlate with their logo and branding. 

What this means for you:

• Access everything on your account, including any exercises prescribed, invoices, questionnaires or forms to complete.
• Pay for services and anything offered by the clinic from your mobile phone
• Get reminders and updates with push notifications
• Tap the app icon on your phone like any other app

How to get started

For iPhone users:

1. With your browser, open the link to your Embodia patient portal (provided by your clinic)
2. Tap the Share icon (the square with the up arrow):
   
   
   
   
3. Select Add to Home Screen:
   
   
   
   

4. Tap Add in the top-right corner:

That’s it! You’ll now see our clinic’s app icon on your home screen and can start using it just like any other app.

For Android users:

Using Chrome

1. With your Chrome browser, open the link to your Embodia patient portal (provided by your clinic)

2. Tap the 3-dot menu in the top-right corner:
   
   

3. Select Add to Home screen:
   
   
   
4. Select the Install option:
   
   
   

5. Tap the Install button when prompted:
   

6. Open your newly installed app from the app icon on your phone:
   
   That's all there is to it!
