1 hour

This Webinar is free for all Acupuncture Division members. Please check your emails for the free registration link.

Overview:

Treatment of the hip is an important clinical condition to know and perfect in orthopedic clinics.

Acupuncture provides effective treatment techniques, starting with targeting the gluteus medius and minimus.

Providing stability to the pelvis results by activating this phasic muscle that tends to be inhibited, probably from prolonged sitting. Additional treatments include the postural muscle the quadratus lumborum, as well as the sacral-iliac joint.

These three structures are essential to treat in the management of hip pain, and fortunately are relatively easy to understand in terms of the anatomical sites for needling.

This webinar is brought to you by the Acupuncture Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).
