Practice Management on Embodia - Part 1: Charting
Embodia allows you to define actions that can be used to track when a certain action has been taken on patient profile.
Defining the actions that can be taken
The actions described in this section require a Manager permission on your clinic.
The first step to use general actions is to define which actions can be taken. Go to My clinic > Communication > General actions.
From the general actions page, click on New action and then enter the name of the action in the popup form (for example "Called patient").
Tracking actions from the patient profile
Once actions have been defined for your clinic account, you can now start to track when a certain action has been taken on a patient account. From the patient account, click on Communication > Actions.
The actions page will list all the actions that have been taken on a patient profile. To track another action, click on the Add action button. In the popup form, select the action from the dropdown list, and provide the date the action was performed, and enter any notes if applicable.
Tracking actions from the calendar view
From the calendar view, start by searching for the patient from the general search area, and then click on the time when the action was performed.
In the popup, select the Actions tab, and then fill out the form by selecting the action and add any appropriate notes.
Using actions to filter patients
When searching patients from the patients page, you can filter patients by actions. You can choose the action, and then:
- List all patients where this action was performed
- List all patients where this action was not performed
- List all patients where this action was last performed after a certain date
- List all patients where this action was not performed since a certain date
